Welcome to the McDuffie Arts Council Website

The McDuffie Arts Council (MAC) is a non-profit organization established in 2008, as a vehicle for artisans of the Greater McDuffie County area to showcase their work, and for patrons to celebrate the local wealth of talent here.  McDuffie County claims, as its own, several accomplished artists who bring to the area a diverse mix of artistic and cultural experience.  In addition to these great artists, there are many talented and undiscovered artists residing here in the surrounding area. It is the intention of MAC to improve the local art scene and exhibit the works of the resident artists, as well as educate the community about the arts.  The Council envisions the arts as a key element in creating desirable places to work, live and visit in McDuffie County.  We hope you feel the same way.

The McDuffie Arts Council has been awarded a grant

via the Greater Augusta Arts Council and the Georgia Council for the Arts.   The grant will be used in the spring of 2010 to help support MAC's 2nd Annual "Arts in the Alley'' fine arts exhibition featuring local and regional visual, performance and literary artists.

         NOW SEEKING VOLUNTEERS!

Students and adults are needed to  help with the festivities of the big day! Please go to the contact page if you are interested in helping MAC improve the local art scene.
