Donna Thompson
Donna has been in our community for the past 22 years. It is likely that you have seen Donna's work and didn't even know it. She was an illustrator for JB White's Department store. Her work appeared in print advertisement for the store, at a time before digital artwork and photography became widely used. Donna was responsible for portraying the store's fashion merchandise, with elaborate sketches and detailed pen and ink drawings. Mrs. Thompson is originally from the coastal area of North Carolina, where she studied under several national and international master artists. Donna's passion in recent years has been watercolor and oil painting, and has won several awards for her efforts. We are very pleased to have Donna as an active charter member and hope to bring you more of her amazing talent.
